Gina Pesko - Village Clerk

Gina M. Pesko was elected to her first term as Village Clerk In April 2013.  A lifelong resident with strong family roots in Elmwood Park, Mrs. Pesko attended Elm School, Elmwood Park High School and Triton College. She has an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology. She previously worked at United Airlines for 11 years in their employee health clinic.

Gina has been married to Chris Pesko for 19 years. He is a Technical Portfolio manager at Aon/Hewitt in Lincolnshire and serves as President of the Elmwood Park Library Board. Their daughter Sydney is a graduate of Elmwood Park High School and is currently enrolled at the University of Illinois majoring in mechanical engineering.  Their son Tyler is a Junior at Elmwood Park High School.

Mrs. Pesko has been very involved with the Elmwood and Elm School Parents and Teachers organizations. She served as chairman of Santa’s Workshop and Market Day at Elmwood School for four years. Gina still collects outside Market Day orders for the Early Childhood Center.

She served as a Girl Scout troop leader and Elmwood School representative to the Elmwood Park/River Grove Girl Scout Council. She has been a parent advocate volunteer for Cochlear Corporation, maker of Cochlear Implants for deaf children and adults. She served as an active member of the Elmwood Park Rush youth football program for seven years. She is a founding member and former secretary of the Elmwood Park Garden Club, member of the Keep Elmwood Park Beautiful committee as well as secretary of the Arts and Special Events Commission.

She and her family are lifelong parishioners of St. Vincent Ferrer in River Forest.
